I am not one to be bothered by a number, however…turning 60 on December 15th is a milestone I wasn’t sure I would make. For my birthday, all I want is to grow our D-Rex Defenders Team for Angels Among Us taking place on April 22, 2023. All proceeds go directly to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke Hospital, where my son Derek spent months receiving treatment, care, and support from so many Duke heroes. Your gift will be used for brain tumor research and education. Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer related deaths in children (yes children!) and the leading cause of cancer related deaths in males, ages 20-39. THIS MUST CHANGE!
